5k Walk/Run & 1 Mile Fun Run

2007

The Outdoor Lab Foundation hosted its 3rd annual Outdoor Lab Forever 5K Walk/Run and 1 Mile Fun Run on Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Bear Creek Lake Park. This year there were more than 130 participants--an increase of more than 20 percent!

2006

The Outdoor Lab Foundation hosted the 2nd annual Outdoor Lab Forever 5K Walk/Run on Sunday April 30, 2006 at Bear Creek Lake Park in Lakewood, Colorado.

Students, parents, Jeffco staff and the greater Jefferson County community participated in this fun event. Awards were given for elite runners and for recreational runners and walkers.

Proceeds from this event support the Outdoor Lab Schools of Jefferson County through the Foundation.

Guest speakers for this event included Cindy Stevenson, Superintendent of Jefferson County Schools, Steve Burkholder, Mayor of Lakewood and Jim Turner, former Denver Bronco, who will be the Master of Ceremonies.
