Outdoor Lab is powered by community. From trail work to invasive plant removal, volunteers help keep our Mount Blue Sky and Windy Peak campuses beautiful, safe, and ready for generations of Jeffco students to experience outdoor education.

This summer, we have been grateful to partner with incredible volunteer groups who are making a meaningful impact across both campuses.

At Mount Blue Sky, volunteers from National Charity League joined us to remove invasive plant species and support the long-term health of the campus environment. In addition, at Windy Peak, Walmart employees from Evergreen—along with other community members—volunteered their time to remove invasive plant species from campus. Their work helps protect native plants, improve habitat, and preserve the natural beauty students experience during their week at Outdoor Lab.
