As stewards of over 700 acres of Colorado forests, the Outdoor Lab community has the privledge, and responsiblity, to caretake our beautiful landscapes. Both Windy Peak and Mt. Blue Sky campuses have been undertaking major forest health, ecological restoration, and wildfire mitigation efforts over the past year. While reducing wildfire risk is the primary driver of the work, there are many other benefits of the forest management plans including drought resiliency and increased wildlife visitations.
