Overnight Camps teach 1st  – 12th graders from first-time adventurers to adept explorers intentional outdoor sports that they can return to for a lifetime. Through outdoor activities like biking, climbing, paddling, and hiking, kids build confidence, learn to take positive risks and are inspired to stay active.

Avid4 Adventure offers two different types of Overnight Camp experiences:

Resident Camps

At our resident camps, campers spend between four days and two weeks living in cabins at Mt. Evans (1st – 6th graders and Staff-in-Training) or Windy Peak (7th – 10th graders), setting off on single-day adventures and overnight trips from there.

Expedition Programs

Our expedition programs for 5th – 12th graders give campers one full week of backpacking through the backcountry, adventuring every day and sleeping in tents every night. Whether on site or out in the wild, campers have an unforgettable experience at Overnight Camp, one that imparts lasting skills and confidence they can use throughout their lives.

Arc Thrift Store Partnership

Spring cleaning is here, did you know 85% of clothes are thrown out contributing to 5% of all waste in landfills. As you clean up your closets and home, try to recycle through Outdoor Lab’s partner arc Thrift Stores. You can drop items off at any of their 28 stores, 17 donation stations, or schedule a pick up at your home 303-238-5263.

Unlike cans, glass or plastic bottles which have to be broken down before they can be repurposed, clothes have an immediate economic value and major environmental impact. In Colorado, Arc employs 1,700 people, keeps 100 million pounds of goods out of landfills annually, and has given more than $200 million to charities over the last decade.

Feel great and donate your clothes to arc.
