How does the program work?
Outdoor Lab Foundation partners with King Soopers and Safeway through their community giving programs. Participating families can direct a portion of these corporate donations toward their student’s Outdoor Lab tuition. Funds are donated to and managed by the Foundation, then allocated to participating students and schools.When can I start fundraising?
You can begin as early as kindergarten. Starting early gives you more time to raise funds toward your student’s Outdoor Lab tuition.Is it too late to sign up in sixth grade?
No, but fundraising for your student ends December 31 of your student's sixth-grade year.How do I know how much I have raised?
The Foundation sends quarterly balance updates to registered participants. If you have questions or are not receiving updates, contact Info@OutdoorLabFoundation.org.How do I make sure our Outdoor Lab fee gets paid?
We send payment to the school late April of your student's sixth-grade year. Do not pay your fee until your school reaches out at the end of the school year with any balance due.Can I still fundraise if I already paid the Outdoor Lab fee?
Yes. You can continue fundraising through December 31 of your student’s sixth-grade year. After spring payouts are made, contact your school’s financial secretary about reimbursement.What if my child changes schools?
Please notify the Foundation so we can update our records and ensure funds are sent to the correct school.- Can multiple people fundraise for one child?
Yes. Family members and friends can participate on behalf of the same student. King Soopers participants should be prepared to report fundraising activity associated with each Shopper Card account during redemption periods.
