The Outdoor Lab Foundation is excited to announce the naming of a new Deputy Executive Director, Paige Brophy!

After seven years of amazing service to the organization, Shannon Hancock, former Executive Director of the Outdoor Lab Foundation, has moved on to a new grand adventure. Last week, Paige Brophy was named the new Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation.

Paige is a product of Jefferson County schools, attending Outdoor Lab as a sixth-grade student with Prospect Valley Elementary, graduating from Wheat Ridge High School, and completing a degree in Journalism and Media Communication at Colorado State University.

Paige has worked at the Foundation for almost two years and truly understands the phrase of “do what you love, and you will never work another day in your life.” Paige, formally the Marketing and Development Manager, has a passion for impacting this program. Paige chaired the committee responsible for creating the Youth Advisory Board, worked alongside Shannon in the creation of the Outdoor Lab Legacy Society and found new innovative ways to allow everyone to have their impact on Outdoor Lab, like the $5 Club.

Paige is truly honored and humbled as she takes on this role. She can’t wait to continue to impact Outdoor Lab, the program that changed her life forever.

Want to get to know Paige? Call or email her today! You can reach her at paige.brophy@outdoorlabfoundation.org or call 720-403-8241.

Your generosity is astounding...

The Outdoor Lab Foundation is taken back by the generosity shown through this past holiday season. We received countless year-end contributions from amazing donors just like YOU.

We can't believe the amazing momentum we saw in 2018...
• The greenhouse classrooms were completed, and testing of the stewardship and sustainability curriculum is underway.
• Our first ever Youth Advisory Board was created and 12 amazing young leaders in the community are impacting Outdoor Lab High School Leaders before, during and after Outdoor Lab.
• The inaugural class of 23 Outdoor Lab Legacy Society members were inducted and 18 new members are to be inducted this coming spring.
• YOU were a part of our biggest After Dark yet, raising over $150,000 for Outdoor Lab.
• The Youth Advisory Board in partnership with the Foundation launched the Outdoor Lab High School Leader Scholarship. TWO, $2,000 scholarships will be given out in May to eligible Jefferson County Students.

Because of YOU 2018 was an incredible year for Outdoor Lab. Thank you!

The High School Leader Scholarship is available!

The Outdoor Lab Youth Advisory Board has been guiding the Outdoor Lab Foundation staff and Board of Directors on how to best serve the High School Leaders and interns who give so much of their time to the Outdoor Lab program. Their mission is to impact high school leaders before, during and after Outdoor Lab.
