Safeway Fundraising Program
This page is for people utilizing the Safeway Lab Cards Program to fundraise for an individual student. You may use the King Soopers Program, Safeway Program, or both to fundraise for an individual student's Outdoor Lab Tuition Fee.
How does it work?
Safeway offers reloadable gift cards you can purchase from the Foundation to use when you grocery shop or gas up. Each time you load the gift card with funds, 4.5% of funds loaded onto the card goes towards your student's Outdoor Lab tuition.
The cost per card is $5 and is pre-loaded at $2.50. Cards will be mailed to the address provided on the order form. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your card(s) to arrive. When you receive your card(s), take it to your local Safeway to load it- at the check register or guest service desk.
If you are planning to order cards for multiple students simultaneously, please call our office at (720) 403-8241 (ext. 1003) to make your order over the phone. The online form is not set up to handle more than one student card request from the same person.
General Reminders:
- We'll send out quarterly email updates about your fundraising status to the email address associated with your account.
- The school district determines student fees prior to the school year the student will attend Outdoor Lab. For the 23-24 school year, fees will be $300. Don't hesitate to get in touch with your school or the Foundation for more details.
- Safeway will deactivate cards that sit for 90 days with a zero balance. We cannot reactivate cards.
