The Outside Festival | Activity Booth Host

Saturday, June 1, 202412:30 pmSunday, June 2, 20249:00 pm

The inaugural Outside Festival will land in Denver’s Civic Center park in early June with concerts, films, outdoor gear and speakers as the first step in creating an immersive event for both consumers and industry insiders. The festival will have concerts featuring Thundercat, Fleet Foxes, Andrew Bird, Lettuce, Say She She and The Heavy Heavy. The Outside Festival will also have showcases and activities in the Denver Art Museum and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The art museum will host films and speakers which include Olympic gold medalist snowboarder Shaun White!

The Outdoor Lab Foundation needs volunteers to host our booth at the Outside Festival in the non-profit area. Our interactive booth is "are you smarter than an Outdoor Lab student" themed. Volunteer hosts will ask guests questions that students at Outdoor Lab learn about such as “In the Montane ecosystem present at both Outdoor Lab sites, is soil pH an example of an abiotic or biotic factor?” Volunteers will also be accepting donations and generally spreading awareness of Outdoor Lab, connecting with our alumni along the way to get them involved. Volunteer shifts last 3 hours. Then you'll be right downtown to enjoy the festival or the city for rest of your day after volunteering!
